Closed Beta Roadmap — Who, When, How Much
Every time we post anything, the top comment is the same: “when beta?” Here is every detail we can share today about Ravenspire's closed beta program, which begins on April 21, 2026.
Four Phases. One Continent.
Closed beta runs across four two-week phases, stacking in invite volume:
- Phase 1 — April 21 to May 4. 1,500 Founders. Focus: core combat, the first twenty levels, and the two starting continents (Human Gludio, Elven Wilderweald).
- Phase 2 — May 5 to May 18. 4,000 Founders. Adds: Dark Elf Twilight Dominion continent, first dungeon raids, level cap raised to 30.
- Phase 3 — May 19 to June 1. 9,000 Founders. Adds: Orc Steppes of Ketra and Dwarven Halls of Dion, the first castle siege weekend, Warsmith crafting unlocked.
- Phase 4 / Open Beta — June 2 to June 13. 75,000+ pre-registered Founders. Full map, full level cap (50), full crafting, full castle sieges. Progress does not carry to launch.
How Invites Work
Every pre-registered Founder is automatically in the pool. Phase 1 invites go out at random from the first 20,000 pre-registrations. Phase 2 adds another 4,000 from the next 40,000. Phase 3 adds 5,000 more from the remaining pool. Open Beta is everyone.
We will not sell beta access. We will not run giveaways. We will not partner with streamers for paid beta spots. Founders are the beta program.
NDA Rules
Phases 1 and 2 are under a strict NDA — no streaming, no video, no screenshots, no social-media commentary. We will enforce this because it protects Founders who give us honest feedback without fear of a YouTube essay making it internet-permanent.
Phase 3 lifts the NDA partially: screenshots and commentary allowed, no gameplay video longer than 60 seconds. Phase 4 / Open Beta has no NDA at all. Stream it, record it, write about it, make art.
Server Infrastructure
We are running five regional server clusters at beta: US East, US West, EU West, Korea/Japan, and SEA. Each cluster hosts one shard with a 5,000-concurrent cap during Phase 1-2, scaling to 10,000 at Phase 3 and 20,000 at Open Beta. If a cluster saturates, we will spin up a second shard within 48 hours. No character transfers between shards during beta.
Hardware Minimums
Beta minimum spec: Windows 10/11, 16GB RAM, GTX 1060 or RX 580, 60GB free storage, broadband internet. Target spec: 32GB RAM, RTX 3060 or better, SSD. Ravenspire is not designed for mobile; we have no plans to bring it to mobile at launch.
Reporting Issues
Every beta build ships with an in-game bug reporter (F9). Reports go to our QA triage queue. We publish a weekly beta patch notes post every Friday. Critical bugs get hotfixed in-session.
If you're not in
If you pre-register today, you are Phase 4 / Open Beta. That is still 12 days on the full map with 75,000 fellow Founders before launch day. It is a lot of time, a lot of content, and a real preview of what launch day will feel like.
